I’m beginning to believe that the regular decals that come with the MG Zaku II’s are just advertising for the water slide version. The decals are okay, but they are tiny. Next up: I’m going to detail and apply water slide decals to my MG Gouf v2.0.

And now back to our regular scheduled feature. I’ve been busy and have not had much time to spend on this Master Grade Zaku II. Yesterday and today I finished assembling the legs. Now I’m cleaning up the detailing so I can apply the decals.

I finished Char’s Zaku II version 2.0. I’ll post better pictures on Flickr today. These newer MGs from Bandai keep getting better and better. The joints are very articulate and the whole model is very posable.

I’ve picked up on making the Zaku II version 2.0 again and have completed the torso and head. It’s a good model and when I have it complete I’ll put the old 1995 version next to the 2007 version for comparisons. My kids love watching me build these. I have some left in the basement [...]
