Looking at a friends EXIF data on his pictures, I was surprised to see that he’s using a D700.

You don’t know him: James O’Shea. He got one of the first D700s in NYC. He’s satisfied with it and I’m sure he’ll put it through all it’s paces.
He’s been taking pictures for years and some of his shots should be in a gallery.
